Privacy Policy

About this policy
Bellefar LLC (“Bellefar”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides Privea, a private residence management workspace for authorized property owners and management teams. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
- Account information: email address, authentication records, display name, and optional profile details.
- Residence and operations information: property addresses, lease and rent records, maintenance items, owner decisions, and related notes entered by an authorized administrator.
- Files and images: residence photos, insurance or maintenance documents, and other files uploaded by authorized users.
- Security information: session, access, audit, and error records used to protect accounts and organizations.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, provide residence management features, synchronize authorized records, store uploaded files, maintain organization-level access controls, prevent abuse, and keep an auditable history of important changes.
Service providers
Privea uses Supabase for authentication, database hosting, and file storage, and Vercel for web delivery and API hosting. Residence and operations files are access-controlled by the service; profile avatar delivery follows the configured storage policy. These providers process information only as needed to operate the service and under their applicable security and privacy terms.
AI Assistant (optional)
Management accounts can turn on an optional AI Assistant that writes operating briefings and answers questions. It is off until the manager explicitly agrees inside the app. When it is on, Privea sends data to a third-party AI provider, Xiaomi MiMo, to generate the text:
- Sent: an operating summary of the organizations the manager is authorized for — rent due and received amounts with due dates, lease end dates, and the status and priority of maintenance tickets and pending owner decisions — plus the messages the manager types into the chat.
- Not included in the summary: names, phone numbers, email addresses and full street addresses of clients and tenants. Residences are referred to by an anonymous code.
The data is used only to produce the briefings and answers. Generated briefings are stored by Privea. A manager can withdraw permission at any time in the app under AI Assistant → Settings → AI data permission; scheduled briefings are then turned off and no further data is sent.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with authorized members of the relevant organization, service providers needed to operate Privea, or when required by law. We retain records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security and audit history.
Your choices
Signed-in users can start account deletion from the app's Profile area under Account Data. The app removes the account, personal private residence data, avatar objects, and local cache after an explicit confirmation. Organization-owned operational records remain available to the organization with the deleted account detached. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting hello@bellefar.com. Requests may require verification and may be limited where retention is necessary for security, legal, or accounting purposes.
Children and changes
Privea is intended for authorized adult users and is not directed to children. We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above indicates when this version was last updated.
